Creating a space for you to feel safe and connected comes from listening to our intuition and learning our body’s language. We live in a busy world that encourages distractions and self-neglect. When we give ourselves time and space to slow down, we can begin to build resilience, so we can better support ourselves and our community. You are invited to step into slowness and softness here and rest while.

Cat is a reiki practitioner, functional breathwork coach, breathwork facilitator and grief ceromonalist. Mental health and well-being is at the core of the salon. Creating a place for you to feel safe, held, valued and comfortable with the intention to let yourself simply be, exactly as you are.

It is important to c saw hair that everyone visiting feels safe and valued.

Cat, the salon owner and stylist, basically the heart of the salon, has very strong ethics on the environment, veganism, mental health and inclusion. These arent buzz words, they carry through in every aspect of the salon. Equally, your values autonmy and agency are equally respected, we ask for this to be reciprocated to everyone in the salon when visiting. The salon is plastic free and refil wherever it possibly can be, from the products that are used and there is also a refil station in the salon for you to come back and fil your empties. The salon uses Oway organic products that are in glass and metal packaging (this allowed to to qualify for a plastic free champion award from surfers against sewage

Cat loves you, every bit of you and the love and uniqueness you bring to our beautiful planet. At C saw hair we want you to honour yourself and how our bodies and hair changes over time. We love the twinkle white wisdom hairs, the laughter lines, the frown lines, each part a story of how we became who we are today. If you want to enhance your loveliness or channel your unicorn or witchy vibes, then that is to be celebrated too! Rainbow hair, natural, straight or curly, everyone is welcome.

Let it be

Cat’s hairdressing journey started on curly hair , 30 spins of the sun ago. Curls, waves, or kinks are all welcome. You win’t be expected to spend 6 hours on your hair as a wash routine, but if you do and that makes you happy, then that is welcome too. We love perfect curls (if there’s such a thing)and crazy, wild curls equally. Actually, maybe wild ones a little more. Cat will always offer her advice, if its welcome, but ultimately it is your hair and Cat will always listen to your guidance and respect your agency and autonomy. All products offered a curly hair friendly, working with natural products and essential oils to protect your hair’s natural balance and our beautiful Mother Earth.

Time to breathe.

For those who need a little more space, time, or a deeper pause, there are appointments that are created with a slower, gentle pace , 1 2 1 and can include sound bowls, head massage or silence.

Cat follows a cyclical way of living, giving back to the earth when we can, following the wheel of the year , embracing and celebrating each season. Weaving those through the salon, by offering ‘hair and head reset’ appointments that can be alligned with our equinoxes and solstices and our moons cycles.

Just breathe

Trained by one of the best schools in the uk, ‘Seven Directions’ and the ‘School of Breath Science’, Cat offers regular breathwork workshops, ceremonies, and courses.

Cat first connected to breathwork while navigating a journey of grief. It became a supportive tool that created a new direction and purpose. Through breathwork, we can deepen the connection to ourselves and ultimatley each other. Using our breath as a way to expand our capacity and learn to hold ourselves where we are.

The salon is created to allow for a peaceful , relaxing visit. with only one stylist, you will have her undivided attention. With this in mind please use the booking app to book an appointment so there is more time to spend on you and your hair.
